Start the New Year Right With Cosmetic Dentistry Treatment

It’s a brand new year, so now is the perfect time to get a new smile to go along with it. At Family Dental Care, we believe that everyone should have a smile they can be proud of, and we’ll be glad to help you get your new smile.

We offer several types of cosmetic dentistry treatments that you can use to improve the look of your smile. When you come in for your consultation, we’ll go over all your options and help you decide on a treatment plan that will work for your needs and budget.

Below, we outline some of our most popular aesthetic treatments. If you have any questions, be sure to give us a call at 409-217-5625 and our team will be glad to help.

Transform Your Smile With Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are a fantastic way to instantly remake your smile into a masterpiece. Dr. Nelams will cement these thin porcelain shells to the front side of your flawed teeth to give you a brand-new look.

Veneers are great for concealing many types of teeth imperfections, including chips, cracks, stains, gaps, worn teeth, and misshapen teeth. It usually just takes two visits to our office to complete your veneers treatment.

During your initial visit, we’ll prepare your teeth, if necessary, by removing a small amount of tooth enamel. Then, we’ll take impressions so that your veneers can be crafted by our lab partner.

On your second visit, we’ll bond the veneers to your teeth and make any final adjustments to make sure they fit perfectly and give you just the look you’re looking for.

Dental Bonding Gives You Another Repair Option

If your teeth flaws are smaller and less noticeable, then you may want to consider dental bonding. For this treatment, your dentist will use composite resin (the same sturdy material we make our tooth-colored fillings from). They will sculpt it into place on your flawed teeth to make them look good as new.

Composite is available in a variety of shades, and we’ll select the one that will blend in seamlessly with the rest of your teeth. After the composite is sculpted to look just as it should, we’ll use a special ultraviolet light to cure and harden the material. Your dentist will then polish the composite so that it closely resembles the look of your other teeth.

You’ll leave our office after just one visit with your teeth repaired and a beautiful new smile that will give you the confidence needed to face the world. Your cosmetic bonding should last for several years without needing any special care or maintenance.

Brighten Your Smile With Teeth Whitening

Over the years, our teeth will begin to get yellow or gray due to the foods and drinks we consume and habits such as tobacco usage. If your smile isn’t quite what it used to be, our team can help you with our teeth whitening treatment.

We offer both in-office and at-home whitening options – you take your pick depending on your needs. If you have a big event coming up soon, in-office treatment with Zoom will be your best option. In just a few minutes of time in our chair, we can lighten your teeth by several shades. You can leave with a brilliant new smile that’s ready for the wedding, reunion, or other get-togethers.

If time is not a factor, we can give you an Opalescence Go professional whitening kit to take home. You can whiten your teeth while watching TV, reading, or even soaking in the tub. In a matter of days, you’ll achieve your beautiful new smile and have more confidence to go along with it.

In addition to these popular treatments, we also offer Invisalign orthodontics, teeth contouring, crown lengthening, and complete smile makeovers. Our team will happily work hand in hand with you to design your custom smile treatment.
